The 80s, the decade that gave us classics such as Paddington Bear, Morph, Rainbow, when we wanted to visit Button Moon and yearned for that Blue Peter badge. Swapping things was enteraining, that geordie lilt filled our screens when we visited Byker Grove and Ant and Dec were still known as PJ and Duncan! The days that when you got home from school you chose to watch BBC or ITV followed by Neighbours and Home and Away. Oh those were the days ey, when you waited for the fairy liquid tube to empty so you could make a rocket out of it, when Blue Peter, Hartbeat and Rolfs Cartoon Club had you scrambling around the house for any items that could be used in the name of 'art', when looking in the back of your closet for the wonderful world of Narnia (come on we all did it!) had you gutted as nothing happened and No. 73 was THE place to be on a Saturday morning.
