Adverts in the 80s were the best only lasting an average 30 seconds long (I know I can't believe it either) and packed usually with imagery or a jingle that will live on for years! Hey we even got ongoing storylines - remember the Oxo family (I feel I grew up with them) and Nescafe Gold Blend (who knew borrowing coffee could be so romantic).
